A very successful and well known law firm created a private investigation division to better serve their clients. Since this new division planned to offer services to outside law firms and law enforecment agencies, we leveraged the firm’s experience and expertise by including the firm name in the logo.
A customized icon design took advantage of the initial “I” to incorporate a combined image of a puzzle piece and a figure appearing in a doorway. The consideration of usage on corporate stationery determined the horizontal layout and one word name, with a unique font choice separating words by font weight. The use of a fingerprint goes beyond the obvious and incorporates a secondary meaning of the hands on, personal service that is provided on every case.
The execution of the business card became a great point of departure: a black background to set off the logo for maximum effect. The color combination of black, red and white best suited the client's reputation and professionalism. He is a well known figure of authority and strength and when handed out, it was a successful marketing tool for him.
